International Foundation Year

Direction: Business, Mathematics and Introduction to Law (Business, Mathematics and Pre-Law pathway).

Direction: Science (Science pathway).

  • Duration: 2, 3, or 4 semesters
  • Beginning of classes: August, January, May.

The program provides intensive training in English, development of research skills and adaptation to the US education system. Academic subjects correspond to the chosen direction. The length of the course depends on the level of English - the lower the level, the longer the duration and vice versa:

  • To enroll in a 2-semester program you need TOEFL-70, IELTS-6.0 (all sections)
  • To enroll in the 3-semester program you need TOEFL-60, IELTS-5.5 (in all sections)
  • To enroll in the 4-semester program you need TOEFL-45, IELTS-4.5 (all sections).

Applying for the required course, the student receives the necessary number of hours of English in order to improve his level. In the 4-semester study program, the first semester is fully occupied by the English language classes (English for Academic Purposes).

The training program at the center is counted for the first year of study on bachelor's programs. After the successful completion of the preparatory year (2.3 or 4 semesters)

The student is enrolled in the second year of undergraduate studies.

An approximate training program:

Programs in both directions (Business, Mathematics and Introduction to Law, Science) are largely identical and vary slightly depending on the semester and other reasons (for example, changes in the timetable).
